What You Need to Know About Using Marijuana

When it comes to the world of cannabis, there is truly a lot that you can learn. The great thing about using marijuana is that you will always find yourself within a community of people who are passionate about one thing - cannabis. Now, you may already associate certain stigmas or feelings with marijuana usage, and that is perfectly okay. However, I think there is still a lot for you to learn when it comes to using cannabis in the modern-day United States. Firstly, you need to understand that there are two legal ways that people in America are allowed to use cannabis freely: medical users, and recreational users. Medical marijuana has been around for the last decade or so, and each state is responsible for coming up with their own medical marijuana program to incorporate for their residents. Medical marijuana is basically the first step in allowing people with medical conditions to gain access to alternative methods of treatment. Oftentimes, medical marijuana can be used to treat serious physical diseases like cancer, MS, and arthritis.

However, it can also be used for other conditions like chronic pain, anxiety, depression, stress, and smaller physical needs. Each state has their own list of qualifying conditions, so the type of ailment that you would need to obtain a medical marijuana card truly depends on the state that you live in. Beyond medical marijuana, adults living in some states have access to recreational marijuana. At the time of writing this article, there are approximately 19 states that allow adults over the age of 21 to buy and use cannabis legally. States like Michigan, Maine, Colorado, California, and Washington are examples of such states. Eventually, it is my hope that everyone can live in a state that legalizes both medical and recreational marijuana, but right now that is just not the case.

The next thing you need to know about using marijuana is that you don’t just have to smoke. Many people associate marijuana usage with smoking, whether it be joints, blunts, vapes, or dabs. While smoking is definitely a popular method of ingesting cannabis, it is not the only way by any means. In fact, now that marijuana has become more and more acceptable with the general public, the industry has done well to create many different ways to use cannabis. For people that do not want to inhale anything into their lungs, which I totally understand, there are products like edibles, tinctures, and oils that can be used instead. These products are all great alternatives to smoking or vaping, and people with certain health conditions who may have underlying risks to smoking marijuana can find some relief without all the hassle.

Edible products are one of my personal favorites if you want to avoid smoking, but it is important to keep in mind that not everyone does well on edibles. In fact, I gave an edible to my friend Mark the other day, and he ended up just getting really anxious about life and started crying. Meanwhile, I was absolutely vibing all on my own. Edibles can also last a lot longer than smoking ordinary weed, but the high can usually be described quite differently than what some are used to with smoking. Edibles can also stay in your system a bit longer, and I usually experience a bit of grogginess the morning after I take an edible.

Anyways, I hope that this article was helpful and insightful for you. Remember to use marijuana responsibly and in moderation, because it is a drug after all!

Strains to Help with Working Out

Working out with cannabis is actually good, and a sativa-dominant strain is quite energizing. Some athletes actually have praised this.  It can raise your blood pressure along with your heart rate, so it may be better to use after you exercise.  It can be good however to use as a tool for fitness, and we’ll give you seven strains that’ll help.

How cannabis can help with exercise

Higher levels of energy is a big perk, as the sativa strains can help with energy, improving creativity, and is good for enhancing the variety of workouts. It also provides motivation as well, as it helps to relieve the depression along with the anxiety you might feel like when working out

It improves the focus too. Some different strains are better for highs, and when you have a mind that’s totally clear, you can work at a performance that’s top tier, as you can have a nice-clearheaded high that works in your favor. Cannabis also helps with pain relief. Pain is a big problem for many achieving various fitness goals, but cannabis can help those who have chronic pain, and is naturally anti-inflammatory, so it can help with improving the pain, and motion ranges. Finally, it can also improve the recovery that you have as more and more people are able to actually recover faster than those who do not use this.

The best strains

There are some strains that work well if you’re looking to use it for workout reasons. First, we’ve got green crack, one that is supposedly named after Snoop Dogg because it’s potent, and energizing. It actually fights fatigue, helps to improve energy levels, and also lets you go to the full extent of a workout. Limonene, beta-caryophyllene, pinene, and even myrcene all play a major role in this.

Great white shark is another one, as this one doesn’t have a bunch of CBD in it, but has a lot of THC in this, which is great for loosening the muscles, and also offers a euphoric sensation to this. Pinene, myrcene, and also terpinolene are all great parts of this too. Sour Diesel is great for focus and energy, as it can help with extending and improving the workouts too, and with the terpenes in it, it can be really helpful.

OG Kush is another one, as this one is a more balanced strain, better for exercising, and it can raise the energy, but not to the level that the other strains that are much more potent may do so. it’s got pinene, limonene, along with beta-caryophyllene which can help.

Then we’ve got white widow, which is great as an energizing strain that can help you feel more alive, n control, while also giving you some energy, and it comes with some amazing terpenes that also play a role in this too.,

Durban poison is another great one, as it’s pure energy. It’s one that does have a lot of terpenes in it, and it can be a great one for those looking to really chase a more energetic high.

Finally, we’ve got sour cheese, which is a mixed one, and it’s balanced, offering a more solid type of start to each workout, and it comes with higher levels of cannabigerol, up to around 3% in some cases.

While working out with a high is not for everybody, you should consider it. Make sure to talk to a doctor before you decide to use this though to get the best results possible, and to make sure it doesn’t mix with medications you use too.
