All about marijuana cannabinoids

Marijuana cannabinoids are something that’s in he plant, but there are some who are curious about whether or not THC does more than just create the psychoactive sensations. While cannabis is good for the body, there are those that are curious about the correlation of the benefits to your body. Cannabis sativa for example is something that’s natural, filled with cannabinoids, and are great for the health and wellness of the body, and are something that definitely can have some pretty profound effects on the body. this is something that outside of the current communities that are studying this know little about, so let’s talk a little bit about what this is, and what it means to utilize marijuana cannabinoids

Truth or Legit

This is a question that we’ve asked ourselves. There are many who do tout the therapeutic results that marijuana has, especially in spiritual or religious ceremonies especially when acknowledging deities. However within the last few decades, we’ve been able to figure out the substance that works best for this, and that’s of course, cannabinoids.

Marijuana has gotten a bad rep because of the psychoactive results, and how it does negatively impact people, with many people passing judgment rather than trying it for themselves. They do believe that it was a position at one point, and it was one of the restricted substances in the US. But then, after the 1970 controlled substance act more research happened.

The misconception about this was because it became a schedule I drug, which means that it was hard for you to do research on this.  A lot of evidence from studies of animals and humans did show that the cannabinoids did have a ton of benefits. Cannabis soon became something that was a game-changer for a lot of adults who dealt with a ton of problems as well.

Now today, cannabinoids are becoming more popular than ever, with more and more agents decriminalizing any of this, and it’s something that definitely has the potential to help others as well over time.

Cannabinoids and their effects

Cannabinoids basically are something that are naturally occurring within the cannabis plant, and they offer different physical, physiological, and even cognitive results from this. There are different kinds that also are considered synthetic, phytocannabinoids, and endocannabinoids.

Phytocannabinoids are something that is plant-derived, and it’s something that’s found in nature and is directly sourced from the cannabis plant. With over 113 known ones, both THC and CBD are the two most popular ones to help with combatting a ton of different symptoms.

Then there are endocannabinoids, which are something naturally occurring within your body, but it wasn’t until 1988 that you’d get the researchers discovering the way the neurotransmitters affected this. The presence of these different types of neurotransmitters and the result of this are known as endocannabinoids.

Finally, you’ve got the synthetic ones, and they’re something made in a lab, mimicking the effects of this. They do target and then work with the different cannabinoid receptors. In our current generation, with synthetic cannabinoids, there is a lot of potential here, and more chances of getting something more potent  than ever before but the problem is, with that potency, comes a lot of negative results from this, so you should be mindful before you pick up any of those.

It's very important to make sure that cannabinoids that are in plants aren’t just in the cannabis plant, but there are others too, and you can get other cannabinoids that do affect the body. while THC is the most potent of them all, there are others too!

Recent Studies of cannabis Vs. Drugs

There is a new surge of debate between whether or not cannabis is better for you than normal drugs. While marijuana still sits as a schedule I substance, and has been since the 1970s, more and more are open to this, and the legalization of this is starting to create a statement which is much more outdated than before. Prescription drugs are all over the place these days, with many of them being dangerous.

There are bad effects, and they are super expensive, creating a $600 billion industry. It’s true that this does have its place, but these drugs are oftentimes too readily prescribed, creating addicting aspects of this, especially in the case of opioids, and in some instances, this can kill someone. With more and more looking for alternatives, weed is one of them, but is it worth looking at?

The Research

It’s hard to say whether or not one is better than the other, for it depends on the person at hand, their condition that needs to be treated, and many other factors. For issues which are minor and disorders that usually make the list of qualifying for medical cannabis, a lot of times this can be a better alternative. Just like with drugs though, they’re not for everybody.

In a study done in 2017 in the Journal of Pain research, they made the suggestion where they looked at medical cannabis when compared to other kinds of drugs, specially painkiller’s.it was found that half of them used marijuana in place of normal drugs, and many of them were replacing the usage of opioids too.

While this does show the efficacy of this type of alternative medicine, a lot of people do prefer this, and half of the responders definitely noticed that they stopped using this. Some people also noticed that it helps with reducing the use of opioids and even managed to quit them too. This can be better for some, but it does ultimately depend on the condition that you’re treating, but there is research which says that a lot of people may prefer to utilize cannabis too.

Treating Symptoms or Disease

One of the biggest problems that prescription drugs have is they’re only managing the symptoms, but cannabis can help with easing the actual condition. With over 110 different cannabinoids, they are important for the ECS in a lot of cases. With the ECS working to regulate the bodily functions, your appetite, how you manage pain, your sleep conditions, and a lot more, this is great for mimicking the behavior and makeup of these endocannabinoids.

Cannabis is good for treating not just the pain levels, but also helping with managing symptoms as well in plenty of people. Opioids are definitely used to help with stimulating your receptors, making you feel euphoric, and they’re made in similar ways that the brain neurotransmitters are. But the thing is, opioids are basically a mask for the pain, and it can’t really help with the process of healing.

A big part of opioids too, is that they’re addictive. While cannabis dependency does develop in some people, if you’re addicted to opioids, there is always a risk for death in some cases, and with cannabis, you can start to move past the grip that opioids have on the body. Cannabinoid receptors do respond in the same way that they do with traditional painkillers, and many people did manage a reduction, especially over a long period of time.

So should you throw away drugs forever? Not necessarily. They’re still great for treating certain symptoms and conditions, but cannabis does the job better.

Strains to relieve sinus Pressure

Sinusitis, otherwise known as sinus pressure, is inflammation and congestion that’s commonly a part of inflammation. Tinctures, inhalers, and some strains are great for sinus pressure.

How cannabis helps

Cannabis is great for relieving sinus pressure in numerous ways, since it offers overall pain relief to the body. pain and discomfort in your sinus and facial areas are very common in those with sinusitis, or sinus congestion, which is why the correct marijuana dose is perfect for this. THC and some of the terpenes including eucalyptol and pinene are great for bronchodilation, which basically is a fancy word for clearing up the airway areas. The congestion of the nasal area includes a runny nose, and other sorts of symptoms that involve sinusitis, and the cool thing about cannabis is that it can help with the pressure of the sinuses, along with pain. cannabis is great for reducing the effects of inflammation, and the decrease of this could offer relief not just to a few people, but the millions that experience this.

It also is good for a lot of bacterial problems, which is common in sinusitis. It’s important however, to understand that cannabis will not be a suitable substitute for antibiotics, so fi the doctor prescribes those, make sure to take them.

the best way to take it is usually through an inhalation or a tincture. Vaping is also really good for this too, since it offers instant relief in a lot of cases, however, make sure to be mindful, as some strains can irritate the lungs and make it worse for you.

The Best Strains to help

There are certain cultivars that are better for sinus problems, since it can reduce pain, inflammation, and there are some that truly offer amazing relief for sinusitis. The first, is cannatonic, since it offers relief from both pain and inflammation, which chronic sinusitis typically has. It’s fast-acting too and offers some great results and is great if you want something that’s topical as well, since it absorbs slowly and offers instant relief.

Harlequin is another one, since it offers properties that are good for clarifying, so if you want to clear up your head, especially if you’ve got stuffiness, this is one of the best. A lot of people who have sinusitis do also suffer from stuffy heads and problems with their sinuses. Luckily, Harlequin can help with the symptoms of this.

Sour diesel is another one. This is something that helps with the fatigue which comes from these infections. Sour diesel is one that uplifts and helps with feeling more energized. Be mindful however, as this can be high in THC, and that may not be ideal for those wo are voices with this.

Royal medic is a hybrid strain that works with Juanita La Lagrimosa and Critical. This is one that works to naturally help open up the bronchi and allows for those clogged airways to be less clogged. Then there is OG Kush, which is great for headaches and migraines.  This is also another high THC one, so you should be mindful of it. Not just that, it also does make you feel sedative, so if you’re relaxing or it’s late at night, this is the best time to use it.

Purple Kush is another one, but it is an indica, and it works well if you have nightly pain. Finally, you’ve got ACDC. This is high in CBD and is also noted to have a lot of effects that are anti-inflammatory and are good for those who don’t’ want to have a high that’s too much.
